Ryan has designed, built, and operationalized cultivation, extraction, processing, and distribution facilities in Colorado, Washington, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Illinois, and Jamaica to name a few. Ryan specializes in brand partnerships that help the success of his clients and licensees in a rather saturated market. In Illinois alone, Mr. Hedrick is responsible for bringing reputable brands such as Evol by rapper Future, Poetry of Plants, Sour Family Farms, and more, to the state of Illinois under his Legacy Illinois umbrella. Ryan created and has helped build Legacy Illinois to be the the second largest independent cannabis brand in IL by total sales, as well as the number 2 and number 3 independent brand in total gummy and pre-roll sales. She has spent most of her career at an Illinois VA hospital. In 2014, Crystal understanding the impact of the opioid crisis and the war on drugs in her community, felt that her skillset and experience would help in succeeding to obtain a medicinal Cannabis License. Although she and her partners applied and did not receive one Crystal did not give up. Crystal engaged in extensive studying of cannabis stains, brands and products. In 2015 she spent time at Alpine Wellness of Telluride Co. learning about Cannabis products and the industry. In 2019 Crystal and her partners applied for a Recreational Dispensary and Craft Grow license and were awarded both. Excelleaf Dispensary opened in DeKalb, IL on December 1 , 2023. The Craft Grow Facility is to follow soon in Kankakee, IL.
